Do I need planning permission for a balcony?

In most cases you do need planning permission for a walk-on balcony whereas you don’t usually need planning permission for a Juliet balcony. You should consult your local planning office for further advice.
What is a Juliet Balcony?

This is a balustrade placed on the outside of inward opening French doors, bi-fold doors or full height opening windows. Whilst you can’t sit out on a Juliet balcony, you can fully open your doors to let light and air inside the property giving a greater feeling of space.
Do you install balconies or supply only?

On a walk-on balcony what flooring would be used?

We use a composite decking system on our walk-on balconies. This provides a maintenance free floor that is attractive to look at and allows water to drain through and not pool.
Do you come out to measure?

We would come out to your property to do a full site survey and take our own measurements prior to manufacture.
